With a location that "couldn't be better" since guests "can walk everywhere" in Downtown Salt Lake, this chainster is a solid spot for a "restful night"; rooms have "top-notch" beds and "plenty of great pillows", there's an "immaculate and well-equipped" pool and an "exceptional" fitness facility and full-service spa; but critics contend the "average" rooms "are showing their age" and "too many nickel-and-dime charges" (Internet, business center and parking) are annoying; P.S. big spenders go all out for their "own in-room treadmill."

Great location.

Charged for internet acces and aiport shutlle.

The room was great. I had a view of the skyline and mountains in the distance, other rooms overlooked the Mormon temple or downtown. The hotel provided newspapers in the morning but charged $10 for internet access, when all neighboring hotels offered it for free. There was also an $8 fee for the 5 miles drive to the airport which other hotels provided for free. ...read more

This hotel was located within easy walking distance to many of the attractions we were interested in seeing. Getting off the freeway was a little tricky. Though our neighbors were not quiet, the noise was barely audible in our room. The pool area and work out facilities were quite nice.
